What I like about my work
I enjoy client contact and I like to take a problem and solve it in a way that best meets the needs of clients. I enjoy the fact that my work is dynamic and provides new challenges and ongoing opportunities to learn and develop professionally.
What I’ve done in the past
I started my career in Wanganui where I worked for 3 years in the Crown Solicitor's Office. I then went on my OE and worked for Westminster City Council in London for 2 years in enforcement and planning and development. In 2003 I returned to New Zealand and joined Anderson Lloyd.
My approach to working with my clients
I am professional, friendly and I like to keep an open line of communication with clients and work with them to achieve their goals.
What I enjoy at work
I enjoy the team focus. There is a range of knowledge and professional experience within the team. Everyone shares their expertise to ensure the best possible advice and outcomes for our clients, and the environment is a very supportive one.
What I enjoy outside of work
I still have a travel bug and love to travel widely throughout NZ and overseas.
I belong to a book club and am a Rotarian involved in many voluntary youth and community projects, for instance constructing a walking track at Orokonui Ecosanctury.
What I enjoy about living in the South Island
I am a born and bred Dunedinite and I am proudly one-eyed about the South Island! The people here are so grounded, genuine and open. It is a stunning and scenic island and has many fantastic getaway locations.
